This year’s AGV conference will take place on Wednesday, 21 September in Dortmund.
The lecture programme, which this year has the motto “Proven technology and innovative technologies: Ready for future challenges with AGVs and AMR”, offers informative insights into AGV practice in six lectures. Anwender und Betreiber berichten über ihre Erfahrungen mit Fahrerlosen Transportsystemen und gehen dabei auch auf technische Details der realisierten Lösungen ein.
At the beginning of the conference, Institute Director Professor Michael ten Hompel will give a keynote speech about his ideas on innovative solutions in intralogistics, focusing in particular on the role of AI and open source software for intralogistics.
The afternoon will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Günter Ullrich on the topic of “Autonomous vehicles in intralogistics: are there meaningful use cases?”, where users and FTF manufacturers will exchange their different views.
