“I have been working in the field of AGVs and mobile robotics since the 1980s. My career has spanned research, development, teaching, sales, project planning and management in this field. I have always emphasised networking in order to raise awareness of the potential of AGVs/AMRs. This also included writing texts. I have passed on my knowledge in more than 160 publications.”

The AGV Conference is an established industry event that has been taking place every two years for over 25 years. It is aimed at potential/future operators, AGV manufacturers/component manufacturers, planners and consultants from the intralogistics sector and research institutes involved in automated guided vehicles and AMR.
The VDI Technical Committee “Automated Guided Vehicles” meets regularly to discuss current developments. Various directives and guidelines are developed jointly.

After a successful premiere last year, the ‘Mobile Robotics’ user forum will be held again at LogiMAT 2025. The experts at the AGV Forum will once again offer comprehensive information and personalised advice on current issues relating to AGVS/AMR projects in five thematic blocks. While the forum will be held on the gallery in Hall 6 (Stand 6H01) as in the previous year, this time the suppliers will present their showcase in Hall 8. Registration is requested.
