Thursday, 30 July 2026, 4–5 p.m.:
AGV-Talk No. 55
Presenter: Dr Günter Ullrich, Head of Forum-FTS and VDI FA MR
Guests: Peter Stoiber & Thomas Albrecht
AGV. AMR. Autonomous. Automatic. Driverless.
These terms are everywhere – but what do they really mean?
In the VDI Technical Committee FA 309 ‘Mobile Robotics’, we have been looking into precisely this. Together with Peter Stoiber and Thomas Albrecht – both long-standing members of the Technical Committee – I’ll be discussing terminology, definitions and why a sound understanding of the technology is the foundation for any successful AGV/AMR deployment.
We’ll be discussing, explaining and defining – in a practical and straightforward way.
I look forward to seeing you there!
