Hall 8: Registration for the user forum / FF stand
LogiMAT 2025 offers a valuable addition to the presentation of the numerous AGVS and AMR providers in Hall 8 with the “Mobile Robotics” user forum. From March 11 to 13, 2025, visitors to the gallery in Hall 6 (stand number 6H01) can expect five thematic blocks offering comprehensive information and individual consultations on the challenges and opportunities of automated guided vehicles (AGV) and autonomous mobile robots (AMR). Registration for the forum is recommended.
The increasing importance of mobile robotics for efficient material flows in intralogistics is also reflected at LogiMAT. However, complex topics such as profitability analysis, system selection, implementation and fleet management often cause uncertainty among potential users. This is precisely where the “Mobile Robotics” user forum comes in. It offers a neutral platform for obtaining comprehensive information, expert opinions and making the right decisions.
In cooperation with the Association of German Engineers (VDI), the Forum-FTS, headed by Dr.-Ing. Günter Ullrich, is organizing a full-day specialist programme with five main topics. Visitors can exchange ideas with experts in a calm and focused atmosphere, ask individual questions and prepare specifically for their visit to the exhibitors in Hall 8.
“The planning and implementation of AGVS/AMR projects requires comprehensive knowledge and careful preparation,” explains Dr. Günter Ullrich, Managing Director of Forum-FTS GmbH. “The user forum offers an independent, practice-oriented point of contact for anyone looking for well-founded information to successfully implement their projects.” The forum complements the manufacturers’ exhibition with a neutral and individually tailored source of information and helps visitors to make confident decisions.
The “Mobile Robotics” user forum is supported by strong partners, including the Berufsgenossenschaft Handel und Warenlogistik (BGHW) from Mannheim, the Fraunhofer Institutes IML (Dortmund) and IPA (Stuttgart) and TÜV Süd. These institutions contribute to enriching the event with top-class expertise and practical knowledge.
The forum is aimed at anyone who is about to make investment decisions or would like to optimize existing projects. In addition to neutral advice, the focus is on the selection of suitable solutions and their correct handling. The experienced Forum AGV consultants and experts from member and partner companies will be available for individual discussions.
Experience a unique forum at LogiMAT 2025 that combines in-depth expert knowledge and practical advice – a must for anyone who wants to help shape the future of intralogistics.
1. Technology
In this topic area, the experts discuss the various vehicle types and designs with visitors. AGVs and AMRs are differentiated in terms of their autonomy, different navigation, vehicle control and steering systems are discussed and differences in sensors, drives, load handling and brakes are highlighted.
2. Planning
In this topic area, the experts advise on the correct design and structuring of the project, specifications and fleet manager as well as standardized data interfaces for communication between automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and a control system in accordance with VDA 5050.
3. Proof of concept
The experts provide information on the technical feasibility of ideas for mobile robotics in intralogistics and the cost-effectiveness of each visitor’s own system.
4 Safety
This thematic block will show visitors the most important aspects of plant safety, personal protection, object and machine protection in AGV projects. The focus will certainly also be on the new Machinery Directive
5 Cybersecurity
In the fifth topic area, the experts will provide information on data security, which is becoming increasingly important. This will cover the contents of the Machinery Ordinance, the NIS-2 Implementation Act and the Cyber Resilience Act.
Demand is expected to be high.
As the slots for tailor-made consulting are limited, interested parties are requested to register in advance for the desired topic block and trade fair day for organizational reasons.
If you cannot find a time slot that suits you, you can also register via the form without making an appointment and/or drop by spontaneously.
If you arrive spontaneously and need individual advice, there may be waiting times.
If your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us.
You have registered and cannot keep the appointment. Then send us an e-mail to:
